Modern design, slim lines and advanced technology are just some of the Z-body chair's benefits. The inspiration for this project was the astounding system of the human body. The line is complemented with Z-body CFP ‒ a nimble and lightweight conference chair that is easy to carry and move. The dynamically bent backrest makes the chair look as if it was in constant motion.
Z-body is a modern office chair equipped with an advanced mechanism, a headrest and adjustable armrests that will match your individual preferences easily.
Castors
Double-link castors for hard or soft floors Ø 50 mm, with load-controlled braking mechanism. Ø 65 mm castors also available (option). Castors conform to standard EN-12529.
Seat
structure made from PP covered with foam density 50 kg/m3, thickness 20 mm and density 40 kg/m3, thicknes 25 mm. Black seat shell made from polypropylene.
Mesh backrest
structure made of plastic covered with polyester mesh. Backrest adjustable in height: 60 mm.
Base
Five star base made from black polyamide or polished aluminum (chromium version).
Mechanisms
Epron Syncron Plus mechanism (ESP) (made of aluminium with plastic elements) – functions:
- free floating possibility (seat and backrest),
- backrest and seat tilt synchronously at the rate of 2:1,
- backrest tilt angle of 22° synchronised with seat tilt angle of 11°,
- possibility of backrest lock in 5 positions,
- adjustable backrest tilt force with a crank,
- Anti-Shock – a feature protecting the user's back from being hit by the backrest after the lock is released,
- smoothly adjustable chair height with a gas lift,
- negative seat inclination angle ESPN -2°,
- seat depth adjustment ESPT – 6 cm (optional). For chairs with armrests, spring tension in the ESPT mechanism should be adjusted with the released seat depth adjustment mechanism (the seat should be set all the way to the back).
Epron Syncron mechanism (ES) (made of aluminium with plastic elements) – functions:
- backrest and seat tilt synchronously at the rate of 2:1,
- backrest tilt angle of 20° synchronised with seat tilt angle of 11°,
- possibility of backrest lock in 5 positions,
- adjustable backrest tilt force with a screw,
- adjustable seat depth within a 6 cm range (optional),
- seat depth adjustment (6 cm) and negative seat inclination angle EFT -5°,
- Anti-Shock – a feature protecting the user's back from being hit by the backrest after the lock is released.
Armrests
3-D and 4-D armrests available.
- 3-D adjustable armrests made of black plastic (PA + GF) with black PU pads. Adjustment range: height 75 mm, pad adjustment frontback: 60 mm, armpad rotation: 10°.
- 4-D adjustable armrests (available only with ES, EST and EFT mechanisms) made of polished aluminum, other components of the PA + GF. Black PU armpads. Adjustment range: height 75 mm, pad adjustment front-back: 60 mm, armpad rotation: 15°, width adjustment: 60 mm.
Lumbar support cushion
adjustable, with structure made from PP covered with injected foam.
Headrest
adjustable in height: 50 mm and tilting. Structure made from PP covered with injected foam mould. Headrest is not available upholstered in fabrics: Bondai, Lucia, Contract, Microfibra, Xtreme, King L Elast, Flex and Fame. If any of the above mentioned fabrics is chosen for the seat upholstery, headrest can be upholstered in black leather (ZQ option upon request, up-charge applies). The back of the headrest made from PP.
